What do I need to bring to U-Scrub a Pup?
Absolutely nothing but your dog! If you need to bring special shampoo for your dog,
please feel free to do so. Many of our customers keep their prescription shampoos
here so they don't have to keep up with it.
Do I need an appointment?
Appointments are not necessary for self service dog wash. We prefer appointments
for full service grooming. Walk in's are welcome time permiting.
What should I expect on my first visit to U-Scrub a Pup?
You will be asked to fill out a client information card (all information is held in
strict confidence) We use this info to help us with your dog's needs & to let you
know about any upcoming events or specials. We will give you a tour of our facility
along with guidance on bathing your dog using our supplies.
What shampoos do you offer?
Our shampoos are made by "Bark to Basics", they are all natural & hypo-allerginic.
They may seem thin to you, this is because they contain no additives, detergents,
or fillers. We offer a wide range of shampoos from Cucumber Melon & Hawaiian Ginger
to specialty shampoos including oatmeal, flea, deodorizing and whitening.
I am concerned about cleanliness, should I be?
We do everything we can to insure U-Scrub a Pup is a safe & clean environment
for you & your dog. All tubs, combs, brushes, nail clippers, towels, etc. are
disenfected between dogs. All urine & feces are promptly cleaned and area is
disenfected.
Can I bring more than one dog at a time?
Of course, we have kennels available.
What about children? Are they welcome?
Yes, we want this to be a family event! Most children like to get involved
and it teaches them proper care of the family pet. While we welcome children
they must be taught not to approach or touch dog's that don't belong to them.
My dog is people/dog aggressive, may I still use your facility?
We will make special arrangements for your dog. You can either come in
before of after hours by appointment, just give us a call!
My dog is too big / physically challenged to go up steps or to be lifted into
tubs, Help!
We have a specialty hydrolic tub named in honor of "Gilbert" for our special clients, it is
lower to the floor allowing your dog to get in easily and raires up to your personal comfort
level.
Can I bring my cat?
Yes, our shampoos are safe for cats. We do recommend that you call
for an appointment.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, checks Visa & Mastercard.
